Jax: An Age Gap, Second Chance at Love MC Romance

By Stacy Kristen,

Book cover of Jax: An Age Gap, Second Chance at Love MC Romance

What is my book about?

I wasn’t always the Desert Aces MC President. When I was 20 years old my parents were killed by a drunk driver. I was young and stupid and decided to prospect for the Desert Aces MC in Las Vegas. At the time, I didn’t care about its lawlessness. But I began to realize the club was on a dangerous path to destruction. And that if we didn’t clean up our act, our club wouldn’t survive.

I’ve given everything to my club and it’s time I take a little something for myself. I need to find a woman and settle down. My mind drifts to Diana, all those years ago. I regret letting her walk away. But that all changes when she drives up to the compound gates, looking gorgeous as ever.

The books I picked & why

Book cover of Destroyed

Stacy Kristen Why did I love this book?

Although this is book 4, I recommend starting with the first book of the series. I chose this book because it ended the American Street Kings with a bang and it’s my favorite out of all the books in the series, even though it’s super dark (readers should note the trigger warnings). Throughout the book, there were so many twists and turns that I wasn’t sure how, or even if, Ink and Neon would get their happy ever after (HEA).

Why should I read it?

1 author picked Destroyed as one of their favorite books, and they share why you should read it.

What is this book about?

Her revenge starts...now.

Rage. It’s toxic. It poisons you. Corrupts you. Smothers your heart until it no longer beats.
You can’t run from it. There’s no escape. Once it seizes control, it won’t stop until revenge bleeds the tears of justice.

The day he took her, he destroyed my humanity, turning me into a bloodthirsty savage. Now, I’m driven by my hunger to see the snake bleed. To hear his screams and relish his cries.

He should have known she wasn’t his to take. By touching her, he dared the beast, sealing his fate to breathe his last breath while…

Book cover of Tattooed Heart

Stacy Kristen Why did I love this book?

I loved this book because it has heat and heart. It’s a second chance at love romance with a well-developed plot and extremely likable characters. And did I mention the main character, Bull, is a tattoo artist who owns his tattoo studio? Swoon! I couldn’t put the book down and rooted for Bull and Tarah to get their happy ever after (HEA).

Book cover of Filthy Crown

Stacy Kristen Why did I love this book?

This book was the first work I’ve ever read by this author, and to say I was blown away is an understatement! It’s an age-gap romance with daddy kink. That being said, I don’t normally read daddy kink, but it didn’t take away from how good the book was. It actually made it spicier, which I loved!

I read this book because it was recommended to me by a friend. And I’m glad I did. It sucked me in and I literally read the entire collection in less than a week. Once I started, I couldn’t put it down! I rarely reread books, but this series might get me to do just that! It’s a truly enjoyable read.

Book cover of Reckless Heir

Stacy Kristen Why did I love this book?

This book intrigued me from the start, as it has an arranged marriage trope involving the Bratva and the Cosa Nostra mafia. As soon as I read the blurb, I was like, ‘Won’t they just kill each other and be done with it?’ But alas, no. The main character is a pawn between the two entities and the author intertwines the plot beautifully, creating one amazing book.

What is this book about?

*A top 35 Amazon bestseller*

From USA Today bestselling author Jenika Snow comes a new full-length standalone arranged marriage mafia romance set in the Underworld Kings world that blurs the lines between right and wrong.

My father sold me off to a ruthless killer in the Russian mafia, an alliance between the Bratva and the Cosa Nostra.

An arranged marriage where I’d be at the mercy of the man who’d no doubt see me as his property, where I was sure he’d be just as cruel and violent as every other Made Man I’d known in my life.
